SA deputy minister of tourism for EZASE KASI launch

South Africa’s deputy minister of tourism, Tokozile Xasa, will be attending the launch of EZASE-KASI Business Fridays on August 26 at the Century City Conference Centre and Hotel in Cape Town.

The EZASE-KASI Business Fridays is a national campaign that is expected to attract around 150 stakeholders and guests, including the minister in the presidency, Jeff Radebe. Mr Radebe will deliver the event’s keynote address, accompanied by both the deputy minister of tourism and the department of small business development.

EZASE-KASI, which can be loosely translated as ‘from the township’, aims to boost township economies nationwide. After this week’s Cape Town launch, the campaign will be launched in all other provinces through the EZASE-KASI Vision 2030 Imbizo (Community & Stakeholder Engagements) road shows to other major cities.
The deputy minister will discuss the issue of boosting township tourism.
